These ranges help with planning and are confirmed during your consultation. If you want a tighter estimate, include size (in cm or inches), placement, and style direction.

Custom

Typical minimum

$150 CAD

Typical range

$300 to $1,200+ CAD

Time

2 to 6 hours

Good fits

Botanical linework, script with supporting elements, minimal blackwork, micro-illustrations, geometric accents, and balanced shading.

Small tattoo (clean line focus)

A precise piece designed to read clearly at a smaller scale.

Typical range

$150 to $350 CAD

Depends on detail, placement, and whether the design is custom or simplified.

Time

45 to 120 minutes

Important note

Very small tattoos can blur over time depending on placement and skin. We will advise on line weight and spacing so the piece ages well.

Consultation (online or in-studio)

A planning-focused conversation to align on style, sizing, placement, and timing. This is the best way to get an accurate range.

Typical length 15 to 30 minutes
Response time Within 1 business day

Touch-up assessment

We can assess fading, line softness, and healed texture, then recommend a refresh plan. Availability depends on prior work and skin condition.

Typical time

45 to 120 minutes

If the original piece was done elsewhere, we may need to plan differently. We will set expectations during the consult.

Cover-up and rework (by assessment)

Some cover-ups are possible depending on the existing tattoo, ink density, and placement. We will be honest about what is realistic.

What we need

Describe the existing piece, approximate age, and your goal. Lighting and healed texture can change what is possible.
